News: 4 days agoGray recorded 16 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes during Sunday's 94-78 preseason win over the Japan National Team.
Spin: Gray led the Aces in playing time during Sunday's preseason opener and was productive on both sides of the ball en route to a comfortable victory. Gray started every game for the Aces last year and averaged 11.2 points, 5.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 32.1 minutes per game between the regular season and playoffs. She should remain heavily involved in 2026 after re-signing with the team on a three-year deal during the offseason.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: After fracturing her foot during the 2023 WNBA Finals, Gray was a shell of herself in 2024, but she bounced back in 2025, finishing as a top-25 fantasy option. The veteran floor general averaged 11.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 31.1 minutes per game. She may not be as prolific a scorer as she was earlier in her career, but she's an elite distributor and trusted in clutch situations. While she was an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, Gray will return to Las Vegas in 2026 and run it back after the Aces won their third title in four years. Given her age and likely role on a superteam, Gray may fall in drafts due to a lack of upside, but she should still be an early-round pick.
